Who is the best personal trainer out there?
That question sounds a lot like, what’s the best diet out there?
There is no best diet, no best workout, and no best trainer!
There are thousands of amazing trainers out there and thousands of shitty ones.
It’s about what works for you. Every single person is different; we all have different bodies, different personalities and different goals.
It’s important to find a trainer you can connect with, feel comfortable with and whom you can communicate to effectively.
To my clients, I seem like a know a lot about fitness but there is so much more I need to learn! In this industry, the more educated you become, the more you realize you really know fuck all.
With my clients it’s a two way street – My goal is always to deliver the best possible program to each client, but I expect 100% effort in return.
And by 100% effort I don’t mean 6 workouts a week, and 7 cardio sessions. If your program is 3 days per week, I expect you to fucking kill those three workouts.
The key is to be honest with yourself, if you, as the client, don’t want to put in the work for a intense fat loss or muscle growth program THAT IS OK!!!! But don’t lie to yourself and say that you do!! A lot of my clients get AMAZING results training 3 times a week and eating a balanced diet just above or under maintenance calories.
If those same clients jumped on my SHRED program – (yes that program is more intense) they would actually go backwards!! You know why?? Because they are honest with themselves, honest with me, and PUT IN THE WORK.
Make sure your program aligns with your goals and find a trainer that supports that.
